Once in Madagascar a Lowland streaked tenrec called stripes was in trouble a wild dog was chasing him stripes was running for his life, he could hear the dog coming closer its bark was louder stripes hid in a hollow log and the dog suddenly ran past. Stripes crawled out of the log and started on his way home.

Before stripes had enchanted the wild dog he had been playing with his brothers and sisters, and the wild dog had scared them away, and stripes had turned around and then when he saw the dog he Ran, but he wasn't looking were he was going so when he came out of the log he found that he was lost. He turned around and went bake the way he came, because of he knew that it was the only way he would find his way home.

He would have to go a long way because when he had run from the wild dog he had gone a long way. As stripes worked he saw many different trees and bushes, animals and other things too. And on the rest of the way, he saw a hole in the bottom of a tree and decided he would stay the night there so he went in and curled up and went to sleep.

In the morning there were four rabbits standing around him one said how are you, stripes replied sorry but I'm lost and I saw this hole so I thought it would be a good place to sleep, another rabbit said you can stay here for a while I'll go dig you another burrow but stripes was too fast it's ok I'll need to go son anyway and off stripes went.

Stripes had only been working for a little while when a bird a bird that looks like the size of a hippo and had a beak as sharp as an axe. It swooped down at Stripes but Stripes was too fast he called up and the bird pulled up and flew off. Stripes stood up and continued on his way and after a while Stripes or a tree that he and his brothers and sisters played by every day, were the dog had cast him so Stripes got very excited and ran as fast as he could, and he saw his barrow and called his family, his family and him ran to each other. the end.
